Day 01Akwaaba — your homecoming begins
26 Jul: Arrive in Accra for a proposed welcome, airport transfer, check-in and orientation.
Day 02Accra & the story of independence
27 Jul: Explore Black Star Square (Independence Square), Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum, the Arts Centre for National Culture and Jamestown. The final order will account for traffic and opening hours.
Day 03Journey to the historic coast
28 Jul: Leave Accra early for Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park, associated with the Last Bath, then continue to Cape Coast. Allow time for remembrance and the road journey.
Day 04Cape Coast Castle & reflection
29 Jul: A proposed guided visit to Cape Coast Castle, with respectful time for remembrance and discussion.
Day 05Elmina & cultural exchange
30 Jul: Visit Elmina Castle and explore the town’s coastal heritage. An arranged cultural exchange is subject to local hosts and the festival schedule.
Day 06Panafest programme window
31 Jul: A flexible day reserved for suitable official Panafest activities if scheduled and available. The final programme will identify events and entry arrangements.
Day 07Emancipation remembrance
1 Aug: A proposed remembrance day. Participation in any official ceremony, and its location, will be confirmed against the organiser’s programme.
Day 08Nature & reconnection
2 Aug: A proposed Kakum visit or coastal experience, adjusted around confirmed festival activities and group needs.
Day 09Return to Accra & farewell
3 Aug: Return to Accra for time to shop, connect and share reflections at a proposed farewell gathering.
Day 10Carry the connection home
4 Aug: Check out and depart, with arrangements timed around confirmed flights.
More Ghana experiences: Ask about the W. E. B. Du Bois Memorial Centre, Osu Castle, Osu, Cantonments, East Legon and the Hamamat Shea Butter Museum during your Accra stay. A Kofi Annan Centre visit requires the specific institution and visitor access to be confirmed. Aqua Safari Resort, Aburi Botanical Gardens and Boti Falls can be arranged as itinerary substitutions or additional days, quoted before booking. They are not extra guaranteed stops within the festival programme.
